Open a new Keynote. White/blank/75%. Add a table. Open your table inspector and set these dimensions:
Now, put a line of symmetry down the middle of your table, and start heart-ing….
Now, get fancy….
Add a slide and design away. Oh, here's the catch…. For each design you make you must calculate the AREA. That is, the total number of square units used in the design. Add that to your slide. Feel like living on the edge? Calculate the PERIMETER, too. Get it? Edge? Perimeter? Bahahahahahahaaaa….. math humor!
Extend yourself: Don't you dare count each square unit one-at-a-time! Find the rectangles within each heart and adding (multiplying) it up will go much faster!
At the end, be ready to share your work in a gallery walk.
